On behalf of Thunder Ridge High School, its faculty, staff and students, I would like to welcome you to our USD # 110, Thunder Ridge School District Web Site.  This is a very exciting time in our newly-formed school; with the consolidation of Eastern Heights High School and Kensington High School, we have become Thunder Ridge High School.  Home of the Longhorns!  

The students, faculty and staff are very excited to be part of the beginning, the development and building the tradition for Thunder Ridge High School!

 

Mr. Riedel is beginning his second year as Principal at Thunder Ridge High School. Prior to coming to Thunder Ridge High School, he served as Principal at Plainville for two years and prior to that served as Principal of Lucas-Luray High School for thirteen years.

 

Phil is married to Dixie, who works at Midwest Energy in Phillipsburg.  They have three children and two grandsons.  Crystal ( Jason) and grandsons (Caden & Cael) live and work in Topeka, Stephanie lives in Lawrence and works at King Pharmacy in Lawrence and Chris is a senior at Ottawa University, majoring in Weather Science and plays on the basketball team.

Hobbies include; golfing, watching sports and spending time with children and grandsons.
